Lost something? It is probably already at Kordan.

Everything found on a train, a boat, a funicular car or a quay is logged and sent to the Lost Property Office on the mezzanine at Kordan — usually by the end of the same traffic day, the next morning for the outer isles.

  1. Tell us what you lost. Use the form on this page (choose “Lost property”), call +296 4 550 4949, or write to found@vael.vm. The line, the time and where you were sitting all help more than you would think.
  2. We search and hold. Items are kept for eight weeks. Valuables — wallets, phones, papers — are locked away the moment they arrive; perishables are dealt with the way you would hope.
  3. Collect with photo ID at Kordan mezzanine, Monday to Saturday 09:00–17:00. A small handling fee of 2.00 vk applies — waived for Care Card holders. After eight weeks, unclaimed items go to the winter charity sale at Tamhal market.

Umbrellas are our most-found item. Gloves, curiously, almost always left ones.
