Step-free travel
Metro & tram
Every metro station has lifts from street to platform, with two exceptions right now: Talraan / Tallis Square is not step-free while its lift is replaced (until 9 August 2026), and at Orsavik / Old Town only entrance A has a lift. All T1 trams are low-floor with level boarding at every stop.
Ferries
F1 and F2 vessels board by ramp with crew assistance available at every sailing. At Mirenlin / Miren Fortress the historic pier gangway is steep at low water — tell the crew when boarding and they will assist. Wheelchairs, prams and assistance animals always travel free.
Planning ahead
Call us on +42 4 550 0550 (weekdays 07:00–19:00) up to one hour before travelling and we will arrange assistance at any station or pier. Current lift and escalator status is posted at the service notices on our home page.
