A few things worth knowing.
Buy before you board
Every station has a ticket machine accepting vela coins, notes, and local bank cards. Our staffed travel centre at Sena / Central Exchange is open daily, 07:00–20:00. There are no ticket sales on board.
Two zones. One system.
Zone A covers all 11 main-island stations. Zone B covers Liri / Reed Isle, Sora / Beacon Isle, Orin / Lantern Isle, and Una / West Haven. A journey touching zone B costs V 4.80, including connecting trams and metro.
A little extra care
Up to three children under 12 travel free with a fare-paying adult; additional children pay the adult fare. Registered assistance companions travel free. Assistance animals are welcome on all services.

Validate at the platform or ferry gate before every boarding. A single allows transfers for 90 minutes from first validation, with no return trips. Day passes last 24 hours; 30-day passes last 30 × 24 hours from activation.
