Service change

Weekend viaduct works on Metro 2

From 12 September 2026. From Saturday 12 September until Sunday 11 October 2026, Metro 2 will not run between Merrgat (Seagate) and Lyrrisa (Lightrise) on Saturdays and Sundays while we renew the Singing Strait viaduct. Myrferrjen (F5) will run extra weekend sailings from Vesskai (Harbour Pier) to Lyrrisa, at the normal Sea Ferry fare, and a free replacement coach will meet every sailing at Lyrrisa pier. Weekday services are unaffected.
