One fare for the whole city

A single fare covers any journey on the metros and trams, with free changes for 90 minutes. Add the sea and the fare rises by less than a coffee. Every price below is the price the calculator uses — there are no hidden bands and no zone map to learn.

One ticket, 90 minutes, as many changes as you need between metro and tram. If your journey touches the water — Myrferrjen, line F5 — the Sea Ferry fare applies to the whole ticket, ferry included.

Passes cover all five lines until 03:00. The Day Pass pays for itself on the fourth journey; the Monthly Pass pays for itself in nine days of commuting. Seniors 65+ and holders of the Myrren disability pass travel at half fare on everything.

Where to buy

  • Sulkort. The navy smartcard. Touch the yellow readers at every metro gate, tram door and ferry gangway. Buy and top up at any station machine or the Travel Centre at Tiracala.
  • Paper singles. From the same machines, and from the conductor on every tram before 10:00 — exact change helps the conductor, who has strong opinions about it.
  • On the ferry. Pay the pier attendant at Lyrmerr, Vesskai, Selholm or Lyrrisa. Card and coin both fine.

Travelling without a valid ticket is a Sv 60 penalty — and a quiet word from the Authority's ticket inspectors, who are politeness itself, once.
